Nearly all of those digital masters vanished in unknown hands... When "Miles Around The World " was in production, Peter Shukat and Gordon Meltzer, the management/estate, were searching for those masters...but you know...those who has received the DAT masters from Miles, didn't remember where the tapes where gone... Well this seems to be one of those, they didn't get, -plaz There is a complete recording of this in circulation: http://www.kind-of-blue.de/seiten/sessions/details/session_1986_30_august.htm This version is missing the final two tracks, Burn, and the encore, Maze. This is the second last recording of Miles Davis with Robben Ford on guitar; Ford played his final gig with Miles the following night in Detroit. -flambay All portions missing in SBD source included here, taken from aforementioned complete AUD source recording. Note: All 'SBD-only' tracks identical with previous Plaz orig.seed (DIME torrent #206863) & re-seed (#310755). All 'SBD w.AUD patch' tracks (01,07,10) and 'AUD only' tracks (11,12) set to match sector boundary continuity with all other tracks, no SBE errors between tracks. Credits: Thanks to all tapers (SBD, AUD) and original contributors (valleybird, plaz, J.Lohmann). Enjoy !! -- flambay seeded at dimedozen.org - August 2010" |
