"Ok per some requests here is the Early show. Just a little history on this one I got a CDR copy of the master reel from a reliable source in London who I've worked many trades with and got a ton of material that now is in fairly wide circualtion. I got this back in 97. This was one part of many early floyd shows that I was able to track down a master source for. In 97 I obtained most of the material and spent 2+ years remastering all of it using about 12 fiddferent software programs and doing a lot of neat little tricks. The gist of most of what I did was noise reduction, very carefully I might add using 3 or 4 different programs, then I used 2 programs to re create a legit natural stereo image from these mono recordings then 2 more programs to rebuild the highs and flush everything to give the listener a very natural stereo sounding recording that brought back a musicality to these low-fi audience taped shows.
Live other shows I remastered from 1st gen copies were. What is left is a failry nice sounding 68 show with zero background noise a very natural stereo image. There may be a few glitches here and there but nothing major and these remasters do sound much better than the original Master Reels.

Rotterdam 67
CopenHagen 67
Paradiso 68 Early
Paradiso 68 Late
Syd Barrett Olympia 70
All BBC recordings 67-69
Syd Barrett 74 scrapped studio sessions

I also remastered all of the original singles, Inlcuding let's roll another one
Plus pretty much anything pre 69 floyd related I was able to obtain low gen sources and remastered.
Most of this has ended up on the Have you got it yet set as I gave them all my material to use on their set so it could get distributed. Ove the years a lot of this stuff has ended up on various bootlegs but the 2 68 shows have not been circulated all that much so I thought I'd give them a go here."

"DIGITAL LUNATICS present:
Sycopated Pandemonium - a look at early Pink Floyd

Setlist: (disc 1)

----------1968.05.23 (early set) Paradiso, Amsterdam - low gen source-----

01 - tuneups 01:14:69
02 - Let There Be More Light 07:26:13
03 - Interstellar Overdrive 11:14:58
04 - Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun 12:27:62
05 - tuneups 00:52:07
06 - A Saucerful Of Secrets 14:09:12

notes:
This is likely the first live performence of A Saucerful Of Secrets
(depending on the date of a German TV clip). Historic, eh? Personally,
one of my favorite performences. For the time period in which this was
recording, a decent recording indeed. And also is the centerpiece of
this little project.

Moving on...

----------"1966 Syd Home Demo"-------------------------------------------

07 - Interstellar Overdrive 06:21:34

notes:
Unfortunately, this puppy is reputed--by some very "higher ups" in
the Syd collectors food chain--to be a fake. :(

----------1968.06.25 Picadilly Studios, London - BBC appearance----------

08 - Massed Gadgets Of Hercules (early Saucerful) 06:40:69

notes:
BBC appearance, early performence of Saucerful. Not sure why the
name is as it is, since they were calling it Saucerful the month
before...but whatever. Nice source.

----------1967.01.20 Mike Leonard's house, North London-------------------

09 - Lets Roll Another One 03:02:61

notes;
Often said to be from "66/10/31", that is not true. Recorded by
Irene Winsby, during a rehearsal at Mr. Leonard's house. This new
information comes from very knowledgable Syd collectors, and is
finally correct. It's almost certain that no recordings circulate
from that 66/10/31 private recording session!!

As interesting as the recording is, it is unfortunately borderline
atrocious. If there even were any, lyrics are unintelligible.

----------1967 - studio sessions-------------------------------------------

10 - Candy And A Currant Bun - drug lyrics 01:58:00
11 - Candy And A Currant Bun - clean lyrics 02:42:72

notes:
Two studio versions of this b-side, one with the drug lyrics, one
with wholesome clean lyrics that your grandma would allow... :)

The drug lyrics version wasn't officially released (no way would
the "higher ups" allow that sort...), and is said to be sourced
from a studio acetate. Kudos to that fine fellow who leaked it.

They both apparantly cull from the same instrumental backing track,
with the first version edited a bit.

I won't comment on the recording dates - I have a feeling that a
book about to be published will set the records straight on that.

This concludes your tour of disc one.""

Sycopated Pandemonium - a look at early Pink Floyd

Setlist: (disc 2)

----------1968.05.23 (late set) Paradiso, Amsterdam - low gen source-------

01 - tuneups 00:34:24
02 - Keep Smiling People 10:09:00
03 - tuneups 01:04:19
04 - Let There Be More Light 08:04:58
05 - tuneups 01:14:11
06 - Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun 12:34:59
07 - tuneups 00:51:30
08 - Flaming 04:59:26
09 - tuneups 00:45:49
10 - A Saucerful Of Secrets 12:41:59

notes:
the complete late show from this date.
Keep Smiling People is an unrecorded instrumental that has
some similarities with 'Careful With That Axe, Eugene'.
Accolades of this are not limited to: early performence of
Saucerful (possibly the 2nd time ever played live), and two
fairly rare songs in live form.
Another of my favorite shows, and also a nice recording
considering the shoddy equipment available in those days.

----------1968.06.25 Picadilly Studios, London--------------------------

11 - Murderistic Woman 02:20:43

notes:
another early variation of what would become 'Careful With
That Axe, Eugene'.

----------1968.12.28 Margriethal Jaarburs, Utrecht---------------------

12 - Careful With That Axe, Eugene 08:00:39

notes:
Apparantly the first circulating recording of 'Careful With
That Axe, Eugene' as most of us know it.

----------1969.04.14 Royal Festival Hall, London------------------------

13 - Beset By Creatures Of The Deep 08:26:16

notes:
Live variation of Axe, as was part of the Man&Journey suites.

----------What is this?--------------------------------------------------

14 - bonus track. some will recognize it immediately. for the
sake of keeping up the illusion of this being a decent surprise,
please don't mention what this is to the list(s), mmmkay?

Well, that's all folks.""
