J-Card Comment Upgrade of the 1967 radio show from Hamburg. This dub was made in 1993 using the original master reel and copying it onto a TDK SA 60 cassette. I azimuth aligned the cassette for the transfer. No eq, no noise reduction, just the raw transfer.
Strangely enough, the interview was not present on the reel which was transferred, but on another one in the radio archive. This suggests, that all broadcasts have already been taken from a safety copy, or a mixdown copy from the original master multitrack (?). In any case, the reel that was used for this transfer is the one that was also used for any radio broadcast of this material. To the best of my knowledge, this is the only known copy not recorded from a broadcast but directly from that reel.

This is an upgrade in sound compared to all other circulating versions. Drums are cleaner, and while still pretty rough mixwise, the overall sound picture seems to be much clearer. But just judge for yourself.

I added the interview portion from the Odeon bootleg "Are You Experienced - Track Mono" bootleg, to give you the full performance. Many thanks to "idiotti" for helping out!!
