| J-Card Comment | Sound quality is very good, but probably not quite as good as the other shows he taped in November (I think he used a different mic), and there is more audience noise. Nonetheless it's very good. This is a good show, the first of two nights in Los Angeles, CA. Of note is a short performance of "Rain" after "One" (it was apparently raining) and a modified ìIt Never Rains in Southern Californiaî after Angel of Harlem. He also did the third of only four Bono/solo/acoustic performances of "Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses," the last one being in Mexico several weeks later. † A very decent recording, quality-wise one of the better Outside Broadcast recordings, but audience noise is somewhat of an annoying factor, worst between songs, but also existent during. One guy also sings along during some songs, which is kind of annoying. |
