Small silent gaps about 4/1000th of a second near the end of many
tracks.

Cool Edit Pro used to:

1. Remove silent gaps
2. Smooth out volume dropouts during first 1:30 of d1t1
3. Reduced amplitude slightly to allow for addition of bass
4. Adjust DC Bias to 0%
5. increased the bass slightly.
6. Retracked show

J-Card Comment This is a very nice audio recording; got this directly from the taper several years ago. The taper is a well-known but reclusive hardcore Who taper who followed them around the world during the mid-1970s through 1982; he had phenomenal equipment for the era (sorry, don't know what it was) and was known for pristine audio recordings. This one is no exception.

This date was sandwiched in between the notorious Cincinnati and the well-documented Chicago dates, so collectors who have either date can attest that they were in good form at this point of the tour. It's one of my favorites.

I couldn't generate a fingerprint; I couldn't figure out how to do it. I did re-convert some of the files back to WAV and all appeared okay.

Enjoy the show!

Additional Notes:
This is an excellent recording for any venue, let alone the Pontiac Silverdome. Roger even says They will return when the Joe is finished because the sound sucks at the Silverdome.

This was the first show after the tragedy in Cincinnati where 11 people were killed when the doors were opened for the general admission show. The band is still feeling the effects and plead with the crowd several times to take it easy. Roger says, "If anything happens we will never be able to look at our faces in the mirror." I was there but don't remember that LOL.
