J-Card Comment This concert has always frustrated me since most of the versions that have been traded/seeded have numerous problems--poor sound, bad editing, speed/pitch problems, songs out of order/missing songs, etc. Hopefully this will finally correct these issues once and for all. I truly believe that this is the DEFINITIVE version of this essential Jackson Browne show. It sounds like a "10" now.

I started by tracking down the best quality stereo tape in circulation (taped and seeded to another site by Jerry Moore). That torrent excluded about 11 minutes of David Lindley's solo performance (Disc 1-Track 9 2:23 through Track 10 9:27). I seamlessly patched this missing
segment from jayhawk's previously seeded Main Point show recently on DIME. I also speed corrected this missing segment since it was about 3/4s of a step fast. Also, of note, is that this IS the correct running order of the show. Several other torrents have Hasten Down the Wind after These Days which is incorrect. I combined the "medleys" (i.e. Pipeline/Runaway, Do You Wanna Dance/Run, Boy, Run/Redneck Friend) since these are not whole songs and it always frustrated me that these are usually indexed separately (I doubt anyone cares to listen to the 0:43 second segment of "Run, Boy, Run" as a separate entity). The disc breaks are also more palatable--Lindley's solo set ends Disc 1 followed by a Radio Promo for the show. Disc 2 starts when Jackson returns after Lindley's set.

Earlier this year, someone downloaded jayhawk's torrent from DIME and pressed it up with nice artwork. I scanned the artwork, fixed the typos, readjusted the track lineup and included the art here as well (including disc labels).

Again, I hope that this is the final word on this concert...I can't see how it can get much better than this. I lot of time and energy went into presenting this show right for the first time so please keep it seeded!!
