J-Card Comment This recording almost didn't happen - I got pulled up at the door of the Playhouse when the doorman found the recorder in my combat jacket pocket.
He let me back out to 'dispose' of it, but I went to a pub down the road and 'concealed it' about my person (ie doon ma breeks)... returned to the
venue and entered via a different door and got in no questions asked.
This was my first Banshees gig as I have to confess to not being a fan originally, it was only when McGeoch joined that I sat up and took notice and
I wasn't disappointed with this performance one little bit. McGeoch was on fine form and Siouxsie seemed to be really into it on the night as well.
I could be wrong but I don't think this show has been uploaded to Dime before? That said, it has been copied, circulated and been widely available
for years now - I started trading it in '81 and I see there are MP3 versions of it on various websites, but this is a 100% fresh copy from my master
as I felt it was long overdue.
Another reason that triggered me into transferring it was that I spotted this - an upcoming live performance by Severin, which may be of interest
to any of you within easy reach of Edinburgh; http://www.picturehouses.co.uk/cinema/Cameo_Picturehouse/News/Item/Live_Performance_By_Steven_Severin/

Enjoy
