| Tech Notes | unknown lineaged audience recording, most likely low generation. Unknown equipment used. This cassette (TDK SA90) -> playback on Nakamishi DR3 -> Olympus LS11 (at WAV 16/44) -> HD -> WeTransfer -> my HD -> Audacity (edit/volume balance/boost only) -> WAV 16/44 -> TLH8 -> FLAC |
| J-Card Comment | WHOLE TAPE (66:56) COMPLETE SHOW (45:27 min.) This is a strange tape. It started as an usual audience tape from those days, with the usual AGC (Automatic gain control) between the songs, which I reduced to a more listenable level. But after track #5 the whole show starts again, minus the introduction, with more hiss, but lesser audience noise. From track #6 it remains with the "better" sound (but also with the hiss), so I decided to leave the first 5 tracks in order and provide the "alternate" versions at the end of the show. I'm curious what you experts of the CBM bring on the clue... Anyway, sounds pretty nice for a 25+ year old recording...but somehow I think this tape was done by someone from the venue's staff...??? |
