| J-Card Comment | TRT : 01:09:12 I actually did a comparison between the dimenew AUD0 and this RH version...and get this... THEY'RE DIFFERENT RECORDINGS. First of all, the dimenew version is near-mono (most likely due to the mic picup)...this one has a wider stereo field. It also has one minute more of the intro than what the dimenew version recorded. A good way for those of you who have both versions is to compare the start of "Christine", the dimenew version has rhythmic clapping after the girl whinnies (can't describe it any other way)...yours does not...and has somebody in the right channel going "whoo whoo". Also, the conclusion of the show (after "Hong Kong Garden") has very end has different sounding audience shouts. The WAV version fades before the PA music plays after "Hong Kong Garden", I suspect a 2014 redigitization can remedy that. I'm also curious what version the Spellbound boot was taken from, hope somebody can reseed it (with contrast clause). Found that the opening band was called "The Front" and that here are some photos: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.428108067262708.96495.428093367264178&type=3 Reed has their opening set performance if anyone's interested, he can access his archive to get the tapes transferred. lammah |
