| Notes | George Benson Quartet - Jazz Workshop, Boston 1973-02-27 C.T.I. Era, FM (Jazamo fix) A fan of the early 70's C.T.I. Record label, it was a time when I became passionate about all styles of Jazz. I thought I'd share some CTI era artists that have been posted previously in Dime including my fixes. Here's a set from George Benson recorded during his early CTI days at the Jazz Workshop by WBCN Radio. This rare set includes his new backup guitarist Earl Klugh who had yet to record his debut lp. It also includes 2 songs Benson never recorded in the studio with the "Marvin Gaye Medley", and "Cafe Reggio", The later featured at the time on the "Shaft" soundtrack. I have applied some fixes to this show (see notes), and should anybody has a different source please share. All praise to the original seeders Carville / Allsoundz, and as always your comments are appreciated!
