** Inside the text file i mistakenly wrote April 24. The 27th is the correct date **

I gotta say, out of all the hundreds of tapes that I've transferred from Ken's collection,

this one has got to be one of the most obscure and rare FM's I've ever seen.

The singer doesn't even have a wiki page !?!?!

Does anybody remember this group during the New Wave era? I was never a fan of New Wave, so this was way off my radar.

It seems that she used session players to record her album, so I have no idea who's actually playing with her on stage.

Suzanne Fellini released her one and only album on February 19, 1980 on Casablanca.

Her big hit was "Love On The Telephone", reaching #87 on the Billboard charts.

There is almost nothing in existence when it comes to live material from this group.

You can see 2 rare clips of her band performing on TV here.

There is 1 other live recording that the Bottom Line claims to have broadcast from May 13, 1980.

Other gigs that I know were performed the Park West on Chicago May 7, 1980 and the Paradise Theater in Boston, unknown date.

That's the extent of everything I know about this group.

Suzanne attended Hunter College in NYC during the 90's, earning a degree in education.

After college she moved to the Upper West Side and got a teaching job.

She still teaches at P.S. 166 in Manhattan's Upper West Side.

One cool thing about this performance was a very unexpected cover of an Elvis Presley's song '(Let Me Be Your) Teddy Bear'.

Unfortunately the tape runs out and track 12 isn't complete. I wasn't able to figure a song title for it.

It appears that there are a few non-LP tracks played as well, so those songs are even more rare.

I think people should be interested in this solely based on how rare and obscure this is.

I found someone on Youtube who helped me with the tracking and set list.

Check out the samples and enjoy this quirky and rare radio recording.

And a big thanks goes out to Ken for having the curiosity and interest to record this.
