This is a very good to excellent sounding recording. This was (unknown to everyone at the time) Keith Moon's final show he would ever play on North American soil and the last night of the entire 76 tour. This show also features only 1 of 2 times they ever played Who Are You while Keith was still alive though the version here is in it's embryonic stages as part of the improv section of My Generation. Also included are some pictures of the show from the collection of Murray Crevits. "One of my favorite Who shows ever! A great night that featured Pete singing an early improv on 'Who Are You'. Pete smashed his guitar this night reportedly to avoid playing a encore that was to include Keith singing 'Barbara Ann' (according to Keith...)" -tapeboy for JEMS |
