NOTICE
I got this here on Dime about 3 years ago.
In those days I was NOT archiving, just burning to CD
so ....

IF ANYONE HAS THE ORIGINAL FLAC FILES please SEED THEM and bump my torrent (gladly)

The LINEAGE here is:
(presumably FM-see orig info below ->) Reel to reel tapes 7.5ips -> Sound Forge -> Track splitup -> Flac Frontend level 8, sectors aligned and verified -> No noise reduction or other manipulation was performed
then
decompressed and burned to CD
extracted from CD with xAct
Compressed to FLAC 8 with xACT

Sorry but when I got this orginally I was new to the whole FLAC/download/archive thing and didn't know any better

---------------------------------------------------------
THE LINEAGE:
(presumably FM-see orig info below ->) Reel to reel tapes 7.5ips -> Sound Forge -> Track splitup -> Flac Frontend level 8, sectors aligned and verified -> No noise reduction or other manipulation was performed
then (by me)
decompressed and burned to CD
extracted from CD with xAct
Compressed to FLAC 8 with xACT

Sorry but I was new to this whole FLAC/download/archive thing back then and was just ignorant

---------------------------------------------------------
WHY DON'T LABELS/BAND/RADIO STATIONS DO THIS SORT OF THING NOW?
1 - bands aren't as good
2 - labels are stupid
3 - radio is too centrally controlled and unadventurous
4 - the listening public (present company excluded) has been dumbed down by Britney, et. al.
