04/08/79 Paradise Theater CD 1 since my 1980 Magazine post was rather popular, and included a request to hear this show, here it is. This was broadcasted in edited form on "the basement tapes." (this was before the U.S. opted to go the route of pre-Gorbachev Russia) Unlike the last one which included the setlist of 2 days earlier (for lack of any for mine), etree does have a setlist for this one. It wasn't a very long concert. I don't know how many songs were edited out of this but all that were broadcast are complete in here.

08/10/80 The Main Act CD 1 I liked to use the XLI (normal bias/eq setting) for shows when brightness helps, and it helped here, the fidelity is not bad at all here for a 1980 audience tape. The only quality variation is from people passing in front of the mikes. I was going to do a CD extraction with this, and even though the files weren't clipped, it didn't sound right to me so I did a fresh transfer from the master cassette and now it sounds better than ever before. I did some ICPVR (individual clap peak volume reduction) for some loud claps but other than that and balancing the levels out a little bit, this is an unaltered and unedited recording. It's missing a couple of seconds of the recorded walkon intro music, everything after that is here uninterrupted and no further editing is needed.
08/15/80 Warfield Theatre 0
08/21/80 Music Hall CD 1 Quality is quite good, but not perfect. There is some minor FM type distortion and a few seconds lost due to a tape flip at the start of "Thank You". I would say A-. Unfortunately this is not the entire concert. It was taped by CFNY-FM in Toronto and edited down for broadcast a few weeks after the performance. I am including a scan of my ticket stub.
