06/12/04 This Tent - Bonnaroo Music Festival cd 1 A+ Acoustic Syndicate June 12, 2004 Bonnaroo This Tent Source: SBD -> Coax S/PDIF -> D-7 @ 48kHz Transfer: D-7 -> Prodif 32 -> Red Roaster (48>44.1, Fade in/out, Track ID's) -> .wav -> .flac Taped, Transferred, and seeded by Chris Mescia cmescia@hotmail.com Note: Thanks to Chris Mitchell and the band for the patch. This is not the sbd that might become available for sale from the bonnaroo website later. This is a different feed and mix run seperately by Chris, and he let me know this is a trade friendly recording. This was a great set with at least 4 or 5 new songs, and the first time live with the 'big band' adding Mars Farris on electric guitar, and Aaron Price on keys. ***Do not convert this to MP3 or any other lossy format*** Setlist: 1. The sound quality is very good. The 1969 material includes Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash, and Billy Wotten (guitars), Marshall Grant (bass), and W.S. Holland (drums). Produced by Bob Johnson, this session was three days after the 'Nashville Skyline' LP was recorded in the same studio, with different musicians. The 1970 material is available through the CBS Studios Reference Recording archives. It was produced by Bob Johnson as well. This session also produced the "If Not For You" version that was released on the official CBS LP 'The Bootleg Series 1-3" The musicians include George Harrison (guitar), Charlie Daniels (bass & backing vocals), Billy Mundi (drums), & *Bob Johnson (piano) ? 2000 Craig Pinkerton Bobsboots.com Full review at: http://www.bobsboots.com/CDs/cd-a27.html --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

06/26/04 Bellinzona Piazza Blues cd 2 A+ A SwissBird, SimplexSimplicissimus and SuperMAX release: Bobby Rush Revue Bellinzona Piazza Blues 26 june 2004 SBD > first copy > eac > flac level 8 > torrent No setlist available, generic artwork included. Musicians Bobby Rush: guitar, harp and vocals Joseph Banks: keyboards Stephen Johnson: guitar Bruce Howard: drums Terrence Grayson: bass Loretta Wilson and Loretta Anderson: dancers (shame you can't see them here!) OK, folks, another one from Piazza Blues, a couple more and the whole festival will have been covered here. This one was the very last show, and if it did not reach the heights of last year's closing gig (Solomon Burke with Willy de Ville resident guest on stage), I must admit that visually it was a real treat! If Bobby is really 70 years old, well I have certainly never seen anyone at that age perform as well on stage. Lot of movement, clothes changing, great dancing and singing. Musically, there's quite a variety of styles in here, some of them I liked a lot, some others less. My favourite part is on disc two, that's when you can hear the harp mostly. There were some mic problems on the very first track, when you hardly hear the guitar player's voice at the beginning, but once that was fixed all runs smoothly til the end. Hope you enjoy doyadig - superseed mode

Catherine Russel - b-voc, percussion, keyboards & guitars Sterling Campbell - drums owie says 2: Odd as it may seem, I still very much enjoy singing China Girl, as much as I enjoy singing Motel. They are both included as my intention is to sing a show that both the audience and myself enjoy. Per show something like 200 or so people know Motel, ( I know this to be about right as I usually mention Outside by name just to satisfy myself of its recognition, or lack of, among the crowd - usually about a couple of hundred voices respond) nearly all 12,000 upwards know China Girl. But I still perform Motel as it is a great thing to sing. The material ratio between known and unknown is just about right for a two and a half hour show in front of such large audiences. We (audience and band) are having a blast this year. Very special. From a quick count up of the many 'dream set lists' that have been banded around over the last while I would have to do a set of about six hours (about 70 songs) I won't be doing that this year. I am loving this tour, performing for you has been a real joy, your response has been fantastic and incredibly warm. I shall continue in the same fashion that I started this tour, picking my set list as I feel it. I won't perform certain songs if I don't feel like doing them and for a number of you, I will be doing songs with which you may be bored. I, on the other hand, am not bored. And, unlike you, I am at every show.

Buddy Guy just happened to be there (he owned the joint) and then a great thing happened when they jammed. You can hear that Mick is drinking and enjoying himself (in fact he admits it at the beginning of "I'm Gonna Get High) and it makes for a relaxed set. The first cd is Muddy Waters going though all his classics. After you hit the 2nd cd Mick, Keith and Ronny show up for some fun. The Stones then play with Muddy and friends on, Mannish Boy Next Time I See You Hoochie Coochie Man Long Distance Call Ugly Woman Blues I'm Gonna Get High

Original seed discs via Ruth and Dylan. This represents a repair of a prior seeded SHN file set for this show. The original seed had 4 minor problems: 1. Sector boundary errors on the last track of each disc. 2. Dropout during the d1t01 @ 1:39 - which has been removed. 3. Approximately 4dB level difference between sets 1 and 2 (quieter). I applied a 3.5 dB gain to the entire second set after repairing as described below. 4. The original seed had 15/1000 of a second drop-outs within 1-2 seconds of each track marker. These were on the master discs. In some instances this was audible as a "tape flaking" type of sound. The drop out represented addition of silence sectors, not loss of music data. The dropouts were seamlessly removed using sound forge 5 and the resulting files were combined and retracked using cdwav. These files were then recompressed to seekable shn, SBE-free, and distributed via tol. The only reason I went to this length on this seed is that it represents the only source so far for this date and it sounds better than the average fall 2002 TOO audience recording... Chris L.all 2002 TOO audience recording... Chris L.L.

There is a source out there that contains the rest of the tracks, but of the 122 owners of this show at db.etree.org, I only saw one person with that source. Everyone else had this one, so I decided to seed it anyway. If anyone else has those tracks, please torrent!!! This show is awesome, sounds great, and is a must for ALL Willie fans. Enjoy!
