Url Short Cuts
There are many ways to get to information in db.etree.org. This help page outlines the very non-intuitive but extremly helpful shortcuts available.
- Giving your list address to others - You can use the format http://db.etree.org/YOURUSERID, such as http://db.etree.org/toma , to link to your list. This is a shortcut to http://db.etree.org/myshows.php?userid=YOURUSERID
- Giving a specific multiple list link to others - If you are using MultipleLists, you can link to a specific list using the format http://db.etree.org/YOURUSERID/LISTSHORTNAME such as http://db.etree.org/toma/gdead/ You setup your list short name in the MultipleLists definition.
- Linking to a specific set list - This only works for artists that are listed in the sources. Use http://db.etree.org/shows/ABBREVIATION/SHOWDATE for instance, http://db.etree.org/shows/gd/1995-7-9 is the same as http://db.etree.org/lookup_show.php?shows_key=2269
- Linking to a 'specific source - You can link to a source detail record by using the format http://db.etree.org/shn/SHNID, such as http://db.etree.org/shn/12157 is the same as http://db.etree.org/shninfo_detail.php?shnid=12157
- Listing all sources in circulation - http://db.etree.org/shncirc/ is a shortcut to http://db.etree.org/etree_shnlist.php
- Listing sources for a specific artist - use the format http://db.etree.org/shncirc/ABBREVIATION such as http://db.etree.org/shncirc/gd
