04/27/77 Capitol Theater DVD 3 pro FYI - This is Black & White. Some further information suggests that one of the cameramen, brought his personal video camera to the venue and taped the multi-camera feed that was being shown on the video screens. Its not perfect, but the Morning Dew itself makes it a must-have! It is then dubbed with WNEW radio feed. Enjoy, I will send this to Shantytown first as he asked me to vine this. * What you have is basically a full capture of my 2 hr. video tape. The chapter created for CREDITS on DVD 3 has some snow at the end after the feed is over. I meant to chop it out, but didn't. Oh well. These things are very very minor. Any other flaws you see also exist on the VHS tape and I have done nothing to try and fix them. I had to make it a 3 DVD set to maintain 100% integrity of the VHS transfer. It is tracked as follows: DVD 1 (1st Set - missing first 6 songs and it comes in during Minglewood, intermission has the radio guys talking - it's worth one listen) 1. New Minglewood Blues (cuts in during song) 2. Loser 3. Music Never Stopped 4. Intermission DVD 2 (2nd Set - complete, found a nice break after Ramble On to start DVD 3) 1. Estimated Prophet 2. Scarlet Begonias > 3. Fire on the Mountain > 4. Good Lovin' 5. Ramble On DVD 3 (2nd Set Cont'd - complete) 1. Samson and Delilah 2. Terrapin Station > 3. Morning Dew 4. E: Johnny B. Goode 5. Credits (no video, just audio from the radio guys to close it out, then some snow) The audio is courtesy of the live FM broadcast from WNEW-New York.

05/24/75 Earls Court Arena DVD 2 pro Earls Court May 24, 1975 (Cosmic Energy, 2 DVDR) Cosmic Energy's recent release of the fourth night at Earls Court is called the ultimate edition, and it is really something to see. This is a ultimate dose of Led Zeppelin's 1975 effort. The picture is absolutely perfect, you really can't call this a bootleg. I love it! I have owned the Holy Eye version on tape, the Kanji Dragon on DVD and I'm telling you I don't think I'll need to get another. I'm not going to speculate what generation it comes from all I'm saying is Crystal Clear-no color bleed-no picture flutter-Crystal Clear!. I stared at the screen dumbfounded. Did someone get a working copy from the recent official release? Once it's on digital disc, aren't they all masters? I don't know and I don't care-it's here and I'm loving it. Two clips-one in Going California and one in Moby Dick is the only distracter here. The audio is pretty consistent (I'm not familiar with the boots from this show to give a comparison source identification) they claim High quality audio in fabulous Dolby Digital (I'm happy). The performance is well known. The set list is as well, soon the visual will be. Get this version-highly recommended (meimnoone 2003) Earls Court May 24, 1975 (Cosmic Energy CE-013) 2 DVDR Earls Court Arena, London, 24 May 1975 DVDR 1: Rock And Roll/Sick Again/Over The Hills And Far Away//In My Time of Dying/The Song Remains The same/The Rain Song/Kashmir/No Quarter/Tangerine DVDR 2: Going To California (fragment)/That's The Way/Bron-yr-Aur-Stomp/Trampled Underfoot/Moby Dick (fragment)/Dazed And Confused/Stairway To Heaven/Whole Lotta Love/Black Dog The Cosmic Energy label is rapidly becoming THE label to collect for DVD releases. With this release they have done another excellent job. There is a very slick opening menu for both discs and all the songs are indexed and easily accessible. The DVD case artwork is also particularly nice and well done. Having said that, the picture quality is the same as the 2 DVDR release Earls Court 24th May 1975, and the sound quality varies throughout the concert, ranging from excellent to only very good. It is a great pity that they did not use the Watch Tower 4 CD release and remaster this in Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound. This would have made a real difference to the release and considerably improved it. However it does have an advantage over all the previous DVD releases, as this new version has fragments of Going To California and the start of Moby Dick. As a bonus on disc 2 there are complete versions of both these songs, using a blend of the available soundboard recording and the audience recording. However it is probably unlikely that many people will bother to listen to them staring at their TV screen. If you have the no label Earls Court 24th May 1975 (with the Albert Hall footage bonus), there is probably no need to get this. However for those people who do not have the complete Earls Court footage, this release is well worth seeking out. (the Earl of Court Dec 03) With this release Cosmic Energy have at long last done the video from this historic concert proud. They have taken a great deal of trouble in ensuring that this is the most complete version extant. They have used all possible sources of video footage to assemble the longest ever version of this wonderful concert. Of tremendous importance are the additions of fragments of Going To California and Moby Dick. Also Stairway To Heaven is the most complete version extant. The soundtrack quality is overall extremely good, although there are occasional fluctuations. The picture quality is consistently very good indeed, and often near perfect. As those perfect shots are usually close ups of Jimmy Page's guitar we are treated to wonderful detail of the master guitarist at his best. As a comparison to the previous best version of this concert Earls Court 24th May 1975 (no label release with Albert Hall video at the end of the second DVDR), the picture quality and sound a similar, but the Cosmic Energy version is a bit more complete. There is an excellent menu for each DVDR, and the case artwork and disc artwork are superb quality, easily the best of any other release of this concert. As a bonus there are the audience recordings for Going to California and Moby Dick, incomplete on the soundboard and video recordings. Overall this is an excellent production and should be regarded as the definitive version of this legendary concert, so close and dear to all Led Zeppelin fans, but especially to British fans. For those fans who must have the complete concert, as opposed to the superb selection on the official Led Zeppelin DVD, this release from Cosmic Energy is a MUST HAVE. (Jules McTrainspotter Jan 04)

05/20/87 The Ranch DVD 1 aud this one is an absolute trip----- -debo "*THIS SHOULD NEVER BE TRADED AS A TRUE DVD WITHOUT LETTING THE PERSON YOU ARE TRADING TO KNOW THE LINEAGE. THIS IS A FAR FROM PERFECT RECORDING, COMPOUNDED BY THE FACT THAT IT WAS MADE FROM MPEG4 FILES, NOT DVD READY MPEG2 FILES. IF YOU ARE THE TYPE WHO COMPLAINS ABOUT HANDHELD VIDEOS (although this isn't handheld) OR OTHER VIDEO QUALITY ISSUES, DO NOT EVEN BOTHER DOWNLOADING THIS" With that caveat out of the way, I, with the help of Marnie, offer up something for the hardcore phans (thats right, fans-with-a-ph fans.) PHISH 05-20-87 The Ranch, Shelburne, VT Camera: Unknown (mega-gen analog VHS tape) Conversion: VCR>Archos AV320>MPEG4 (OpenDivx v4 video, MP3 audio) Conversion by: Todd Langevin <cliffordball@funkjam.com> Secured via snail mail, facilitated, and transported via Subaru by Marnie Morris (big thanks), and authored to DVD using Ulead DVD MovieFactory by kaminskc. I chose to author this to DVD because a) the conversion to VCD represented a significant loss in quality again, and b) the files came in at just above 700 MB, too big for a CD without cutting anything. I added a nice menu with a crowd shot from Vegas that looks nice. -Chris Video is extremely poor due to numerous analog generations but this is still a MUST SEE for all phish fans. The audio is very clear (even though it was used from an mp3 source). Enjoy!! This is a fucking classic show, you even get a brief glimpse of Marley during Antelope. Good old phamily get-together. Chapter 1: Wilson*, Run Like an Antelope, Golgi Apparatus > Back Porch Boogie Blues > Lushington => Chapter 2: => Lushington > Possum, Harry Hood, You Enjoy Myself Chapter 3: Alumni Blues** *Incomplete (video starts about 1 minute into the song). **With members of the Joneses and Mental Floss on sax and guitar.

The AC3 audio sounds really good and this was another way to keep it to one disc. still overall the quality is great. A very steady and well shot vid of the screens from the lawn at Deer Creek w/ a great sounding source. the show is raging too. kind of slow in the middle of the second set, but the YEM is unreal and the rest of the show nothing to scoff at. This is the last in the line of summer '97s that i have seeded. i hope you guys have enjoyed them. Tweeprise Notes: * Two angles for the end of DWD and the first 12 minutes of Gin. ** No video of Hood, instead there is 8-9 minutes worth of footage from the way into the festival followed by a slideshow. Set one plus all of DWD and most of Bathtub is very good quality. There is minimal generation loss. The second angle for bathtub eventually becomes the only angle and there are some issues with the tracking on the VHS. Coupling this with the fact that the cameraman sucks, some people may find this to be not up to their standards. This video is handheld, and like I said, the cameraman is not very good (worse than the BC DVD), but this will be present on any copy of the show you could find. Judging by the relative rareness of this VHS, and the quality of the show (and subsequent SBD discs), the DVD was made. Enjoy. 12/31/99 Big Cypress Seminole Reservation DVD 1 pro Phish 12/31/99 Big Cypress, FL Partial DVD This is sourced from an ABC broadcast feed. One song was broadcast that night to the nation, Heavy Things. But, it looks like ABC recorded a good bit. This DVD doesn't have a menu to speak of, and the chapters look like they are just 5 minutes apart, not on the songs. This is exactly how I received the DVD. The audio is a Soundboard feed obviously. There is a total of about an hour of footage. Here's what's on the DVD: Llama (most of this song is just the ABC color bars with the audio playing in the background) Bathtub Gin Heavy Things Twist> Prince Caspian> Rock & Roll (cuts after about 10 minutes) So, source would be ABC Feed>VHS?>DVD Filler: 7/30/99 (day show) from the Fuji Rock Festival in Naeba, Niigata, Japan. 12/28/03 American Airlines Arena DVD 2 aud Aspect ratio: Fullscreen 4:3 For some reason the contrast during set II is noticably lower than the footage from set I and the encore, so the video quality for this set is slightly less clear. i.e. whereas the black is black in set I it is gray in set II, if that makes any sense. 06/21/04 Ed Sullivan Theatre Marquee DVD 1 aud Monday, June 21, 2004 Ed Sullivan Theater, New York, NY Scents and Subtle Sounds, Scents and Subtle Sounds, 2001, Wilson, Chalk Dust Torture, Tweezer > Tweezer Reprise. Show Notes: Phish performed on top of the Ed Sullivan Theater's second-floor marquee at West 53rd Street and Broadway. The soundcheck earlier that day included a instrumental jam similar to "Quantegy" from Trey's solo disc "One Man's Trash." After Phish appeared around 6:20 PM, a funk jam was pumped through the speakers, possibly performed inside by Paul Shaffer and the CBS Orchestra. The first "SASS" was taped for the Late Show with David Letterman and aired that night. Then Phish waited as an instrumental version of "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down" was broadcast from the speakers, again possibly from Shaffer inside the theatre. The remainder of Phish's performance was for the benefit of a few hundred fans assembled on the sidewalk across the street.
