Sony ECM-939LT stereo mics (x2) > Marantz PMD-340 cassette deck |
| Media |
flac 2 discs |
| Notes |
Recording: Taped onto TDK AD-X normal bias tape, with Dolby on Set up in center seat, two rows behind the soundboard. Mics raised aprx seven and a half feet on a tent pole. / Transfer: MAC > Sony TC-D5M > Soundblaster > Soundforge > CD-Wave > TLH > FLAC; Soundforge used as noted below. CD-Wave for Track-ID's, Trader's Little Helper to verify SBE-OK and make checksums, and Flac Frontend for lossless compression. / Notes: The split between D2 & D3 is where the cassette tape was flipped.
Soundforge was used for fades, and minor edits, and to attenuate loud claps and noises that interfered with the music in a few spots. There were small left-channel drop-outs due to a faulty mic cord. I used Soundforge to patch the right channel over the drop-outs at:
- Mexicali Blues 03:59
- Drums (d2) 04:22 -> 05:02
- Drums (d3) 01:12, 03:22, 03:37 -> 03:38
- Space 02:59
- Good Lovin' 04:26 -> 04:28, 06:39, 07:47 -> 08:12
