Tech Notes This charity show was given for the 'Leuka 2000' association.

This is the third charity concert Mark Knopfler and his friends gave at the Shepherd's Bush Empire, in London on July, 25th, 2002. And this is one of my very favourite gigs too...

The sound and picture quality are both really great. It is the same quality and way of taping as the concert from July 23rd, which I uploaded here some weeks ago. The taper did a really good job in my opinion, thank you to him if he reads those lines, one never knows...

I love the filming from above, it gives a really good view of everything happening on stage. Some screenshots are available here, for those who'd like to have an idea of what it is:

First half is a classic Hillbillies set, including the sublime and always too short "Are we in trouble now". Second half from "Walk of life", is a classic Straits stuff, plus one of Mark's newest creations at that time, "Why aye man".

Everything is absolutely brilliantly played, as always. These guys are real geniuses... Musically speaking, having MK, GF and DC all together on stage is what I love the most, if ones cares... ;-)

On this DVD, the concert is complete, if you except some very little parts in the middle of "Brothers in arms", unfortunately. I don't know why... Maybe a battery problem or something like this, but that's not that disturbing, don't worry!

Artwork is included, thanks to the RCJS team this time.
