3 Audio Technica ATM 11s > Sony TCM D-5 > MC, Cass > CD-R |
| Media |
SHN 2 discs |
| Notes |
Conversion (Cass > CD-R): MC > Sony TC-we 435 > analog Coax Cables > analog inputs > Philips CDR 870 > CD-R* Cass >
CD-R conversion by Mark Horvath
Conversion (CD-R > SHN): CD-R* > EAC 3x > .wavs compared by MD5s and EAC's .wav compare tool >
Cool Edit (rejoin tracks and fades)1 >CD-WAV (Re-Tracking) > MKW ACT 0.96 > SHN CD-R >
SHN conversion by Jan Welch <jwelch@bowdoin.edu>
*Mark's Master CD-Rs, on which tracks were not placed accurately due to the limitations of the Standalone burner, so after
extraction they were pieced back into a single .wav and re-tracked using CD-WAV.Set 2 fits on a single 80 min disc and
is set up to be burned as such, however it can be broken into three 74 min discs after drums (d2t05).Fades were added
in several positions (all during crowd noise) because
the Master Cassette was stopped during the crowd noise on multiple occasions.
Rather than have abrupt level changes where the tape starts and stops between songs a 0.5s fade out was followed by a 0.5s fade
in
and a track break was placed during the silence between the fades.
there were SBE's on tracks d1t08 & d2t09 that have been fixed.. terra3@triad.rr.com enjoy :)
