| Notes | Steve Hackett : The Lostbrook Tape Series - Volume 5 I believe this was Steve Hackett’s first tour of the US since his departure from Genesis. I know I hadn’t seen him since the Wind and Wuthering tour in 1977. To have the opportunity to see him at The Bottom Line – one of my favorite venues – was extraordinary. I realize that there are already excellent sources available for this performance, including a Pro-Shot DVD, but I have to recommend my tape if you want to hear what the room really sounded like that night. I do like the DVD for another reason – there’s a bonus feature called “Waiting in Line,” and I’m in it! I’m the guy who proudly displays his ticket for the camera as if to say, “I’m seeing HACKETT!” For those of you who don’t have the DVD, I’ll try to attach a screen shot so you can see a young Lost Brook in action. Turn this one up loud, order a drink from the waitress, and feel the walls vibrate as Hackett dismantles this small club.
