| Notes: | Uploader's info: Audience recording. Same as LB-4988*, based on track times which do exactly match those of the mentioned LB reference. Taper: Tarantula. Lineage: ? > Cd-R(x) > wav (eac secure mode) > flac (w/flac 1.1.1) * LB-4988: lots of brickwalling distortion on loud parts of loud songs such as around d1t3 4:30 plus lots more lots of the time; good to very good sound [B-] discontinutity pop d1t3 1:25, d1t9 7:09, 8:02, d1t10 2:49, 2:58 plus lots more Fix: N.B. No LB number was assigned to the fileset being fixed here. Cool Edit Pro 2.1 click/pop eliminator to remove many digi clicks across + Wave Repair to fix micro gaps on d1t7 and 8 [DFF logs included], fixed minor dropout on d1t3 at 4:20 + d1t2 at 4:53 + d2t1 at 4:02. Recording is slighly brickwalled throughout, but excellent nonetheless. N.B. Heinrich upload of tarantula recording, LB-5941, is actually a lower gen copy of the same recording with a secure lineage and according to LB entry, it sounds better > FLAC | |||||

| Notes: | LB-5941, (67min+53min), version "a"; tarantula, ?? -> portable DATrecorder - clone -> (digital transfer) m-audio delta audiophile 2496, -> Wavelab, levels raised -> cdwave for tracking -> tlh, I did not harm the sound of the recording in any way; bittorrent download 03/08; same recording as LB-4988 based on same clapping at end of d1t10 with wavs inverted; in wav view on loud parts like d1t4 4:57 this looks limited/clipped with peaks chopped off while that one looks brickwalled with wav peaks ok but in between peaks being straight lines and they both sound distorted and scratchy at times when loud; on quiet songs like d1t10 that has more hiss which indicated it probably went through an additional analog step; very good sound [B] | |||||
