Notes: Source: Audience Recording Taper: Greg Holtz Lineage: Nakamichi CM-300's with CP-4 Shotgun Caps > D6 > Master Cassette > Nak CD-1 > 24/96 Wave > Wavelab 5 > plugins > r8brain > 16/44.1 Wave > cd wave (track) > TLH > flac lvl 8 A **GEMS** Production d1t01: There are a few artifacts left at the very beginning of the track where levels ect were being situated. - d2t01: There are a two small oddities in the first 30 seconds that were attenuated but are still audible. - d2t09: The tape ran out right in the middle of this track. I've cross faded it to make it a little smoother, but if your singing along, you can't help but notice. - A very very nice sounding pull. Bob has an interesting performance and hits a few interesting notes. All in all, this looks to be a very lightly circulated source. A worthy listen for sure. All tape flips have been cross faded. EQ and plugins used where necessary to spice and flavor. Enjoy. - BIG thanks to Greg, aka Garageboy, for taping this fine show and providing his masters. - Transfer and edit by Bgreen Notes From Greg; April 2008 Recollection: This particular recording was recorded from the front opera box, stage right. I duct-taped a pair of gooseneck bars with the mic holders to the rail, and draped them with a black cloth. The shotguns were pointed directly at the stage right stacks. The Murat Temple Theater in Indianapolis is one of those 1920's era ornate theaters with the opera boxes, starry night ceiling, chandeliers, wide staircases, marble bathrooms, plush carpeting and seating...and a full bar....several of them. If you get a chance to see a show at the Murat, do it. It is a beautiful place. There is also a smaller space in the Temple called the Egyptian Room. If not enough tickets are sold, they put on the shows there. Needless to say, Dylan filled the main theater.

Notes: LB-6300, (67min+37min), vgersion "b"; ?? - portable DAT-recorder - clone ->(digital transfer) m-audio delta audiophile 2496, -> Wavelab -> ssrc -> Wavelab, levels raised -> cdwave for tracking -> tlh, I did not harm the sound of the recording in any way; bittorrent download 07/08; nothing above 17k; does not have lego parapets; levels too high with clipping/limiting on d1t1 for first minute then come down; in 3-way comparison these are different recordings based on different crowd at end of d1t1; this is warmest clearest with least hiss, then LB-27 and then holtz LB-6048; this is overly bassy; LB-27 is more upfront; excellent sound [A-]
