Tulum (5/0) FLAC / 8 View   AUD > CASS(M) > Aiwa AD-F810 3-Head Cassette Deck > Hosa Cables > E-MU 0404 Soundcard > CEP 2.1...
Notes: Taped by Andymon and transferred directly from his original cassette master. I believe he was recording on a stereo Sanyo walkman, microphone unknown. A handful of dropouts were repaired using material from the opposite channel. No nr, no eq, this is the real deal. Slightly more complete than the other known source, sound is a little distorted in the highs but overall sounds "beefier". t08 is literally Blank tape from the end of the cassette. All FLACs tagged using foobar2000 v0.8.3.
Tulum (5/0) FLAC / 7 View   AUD > CASS(x) > Aiwa AD-F810 3-Head Cassette Deck > Hosa Cables > E-MU 0404 Soundcard > CEP 2.1...
Notes: This is from the same tape as the version that commonly circulates but from a much lower gen source. This source is much cleaner and clearer than any other source I've heard. The tape I used for this transfer is split over two sides of a 90-minute cassette, and runs too fast. I adjusted this using CEP 2.1 (s1: ratio 104.496, s2: ratio 104.997) and am very happy with the results. A handful of dropouts were repaired using material from the opposite channel. No further processing (e.g. nr, eq) was applied. All FLACs tagged using foobar2000 v0.8.3. Special thanks to the unknown taper, Andymon for providing this source (as well as the other), the person who's name I've lost who sent me a sample of the known circulating source, and a.b. for being such a great help with correcting the speed. known faults: r channel becomes muffled for about a minute and a half during t01. Happens again briefly during t04 (possibly the taper temporarily changing position?). 1-second power failure during t05. A few small bits of static occasionally present.

Notes: Great show. Small set with really good sound. There are a couple of cuts, and some crowd chatter.
