Notes: Quicksilver Messenger Service Carousel Ballroom, San Francisco, California April 14, 1968 Master SBD > "Molly" C > DAT > CDR CD 1 1. Back Door Man 2. Light Your Windows * 3. Who Do You Love? 4. Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You 5. Walkin' Blues 6. The Fool// CD2 1. //Jam * ^ A very nice mix right from the beginning Light Your Windows has microphone problems in the beginning. The Fool cuts out the master tape right very near the end. My guess would be only about 15 seconds missing. Jam cuts in * The sax & flute player is these is never introduced. However, the chances that it is Steve Schuster (friend of Gary's, co-writer of "Gold And Silver") are very high. ^ An unknown vocalist appears here and there on this jam, any help would be great!

If not for the vocals being a little too up front, this would be an easy A. I'm giving it an A- for that reason.

Notes: Very clear, but vocals are way up front in the mix, as were many sbds from this era. Would be an A otherwise. Mostly jams anyway. Turn 'em up.

Notes: SBD. 1 SHN->2 CD. Sounds like mono or very little stereo separation. Cuts at end of t6 & start of t7. 3 minor pops in t7. Good sound. Interesting show.
Ryan Linn (1/5) SHN / 1 A View 21006 Master SBD >
Notes: The vocals are a little loud, but the recording is very clear compared to most QMS shows of this period. The closing jam rambles a lot though it has many fine moments.
