| Notes: | Mk4 version carefully remastered fixing various issues, with EQ & NR - missing 1000 Mothers (TRT 54:30) Recording Information ::: unknown equipment miked over the stage -> master stereo reel -> ? (1st generation broadcast edit?) -> post-concert stereo FM broadcast -> unknown equipment -> off-air master reel -> 1st generation cassette -> wav(24/96) -> wav(16/44.1) -> flacs. (While a 1st gen from the off-air master, this is actually from a 3rd or 4th analog generation plus the issues of radio compression). Transfer (2010 weedwacker67 upload info) ::: 1st gen cassette (from off-air tape) -> Revox B 215 -> Monster Studiolink cabling (balanced pair) -> Audiophile 192 -> Adobe Audition 3.0 (taped by Howie O. & transfer by weedwacker67). Remastering 2018-07-20 to 08-03 ::: weedwacker67 flacs -> TLH -> wavs -> Audacity [normalisation to remove DC offset, channel/phase alignment, fades, manual one-at-a-time glitch, bump, pop, click, dropout & dullspot repairs, volume adjustments, -0.3% averaged single pitch (speed) fix with single pass after frequency analysis & with pitchpipe verification, notch filters as mentioned below, differential equalisation used, light noise reduction applied.] -> CD Wave (track splits) -> flacs (Trader's Little Helper) -> yr ears. First uploaded 2018-08-04. NOTE: Weedwacker67's files had weird spikes (from the tape source), so all versions I did (Mk2,Mk3,Mk4) have notch filters applied at 60, 120, 180, 240, 300, 361 Hz. It cleared up the sound a LOT. | |||||
