| Notes: | October 23 (Sunday), 1994 Boston, 'Nocturnal Emissions', 104.1 WBCN Live, Massachusetts, USA From the June 4, 1997 rebroadcast of the Jeff Buckley tribute - WBCN Memorial Broadcast. 01 Intro 0:22 02 Grace 7:46 03 Interview 1:39 04 So Real 5:03 05 Interview 5:00 06 Lover, You Should've Come Over 8:34 07 WBCN Promo 0:14 Musicians: Jeff Buckley - guitar, vocals Michael Tighe - guitar Matt Johnson - drums SOURCE Excellent Soundboard recording Lineage: SBD > WBCN FM 104.1 Boston broadcast > DAT at 48 kHz >DAT clone > .wav via S/PDIF and Dio Midiman 2448 digital soundcard >SoundForge 6.0 > CD Wave > MKW Audio Tool 0.97 Beta 1 > SHN-Decoded to .wav, checksums verified > phasing inverted and commercially released music deleted with CoolEdit Pro 2.0 > FLAC Frontend (level 6, SBE OK) Large frequency spike at 19kHz. While editing out commercially released content in preparation for FLAC set it was discovered that channel phasing was incorrect. That has been resolved with this set, making this what should stand as the definitive version of this memorial broadcast in circulation. SHN set prepared May 2003 FLAC set prepared November 2005 Information from the 'Flowers in Time' database - http://www.flowersintime.org --------------------------------------------------------- lovesick alien's notes 2009: This version of the show comes from a memorial re-broadcast shortly after Jeff's death [which also featured Jee's set from Boson's 'Mama Kin' club a year later], and is a superb FM. This version of the FM re-broadcast was posted to DIME a few years ago with the commerical material removed. Since that includes the entire intro and outro to the shows, I separated them and returned them to chronological order in my collection. My thanks to goody and the original poster of the re-broadcast. Files renamed to etree standard and new flac file generated 2009. Enjoy! | |||||
