| Notes: | Robben Ford & The Blue Line December 4th, 1992 Boulder, CO unknown venue (either Fox Theater or Boulder Theater) The Brother You Cut Me To The Bone Real Man I Ain't Got Nothin' But The Blues Step On It Prison of Love I'm Your Man Waiting For The Miracle (unknown title) Talk To YOur Daughter Help The Poor Livin' In A Fool's Paradise unknown source > ?? > CD > EAC > CoolEditPro* > FLAC > DIME *Normalized I actually recorded a shorter version of this show from a radio broadcast (97.3 FM Boulder) way back in '94 or '95. The radio broadcast did not include the final two tracks you have here. I received this version of the show through a snail mail bootleg trade. The fact that the radio broadcast a seemingly SBD version (I remember it sounded great on the radio) makes me think that the most likely lineage for this show is SBD > ?? > CD. I don't think it's an AUD recording, because there is zero intimate crowd noise, just the "far-off" variety. We're talking relative here because at Fox Theater or Boulder Theater far-off from the stage mics is like 15 feet. So a well set-up SBD mix might not sound that different from a well-done AUD bootleg, especially if the house mix is superb and for Robben Ford would be the case as he typically does an early, lengthy soundcheck. To make a long story short: This is an amazing show. Trust me. Robben is outstanding for the old home crowd (he lived in Boulder in the late 70s). This show is what turned me on forever to Robben Ford's guitar playing. | |||||
