| Notes: | Outstanding recording from Per S. (especially for coming late to the venue & being rushed to set up). He starts taping in the bathroom, then heads straight for his seat. The clarity and separation of instruments are excellent (you can tell the venue is acoustically-friendly). And a nice depth to the sound. The D100 really seems to capture layers, in contrast to many of the flat/one-dimensional recordings often heard in MD sources. A bit of bass overload, and slight hall echo, but that is nitpicking. Plus, I like live recordings with a certain live feel to it. Not a fan of the static soundboard. | |||||
