Notes: ::: VG++ AUD for its vintage. Check samples for folly or fun or feverish frustration mitigation. ::: Warts: Repaired dullspots&dropouts but surely missed a few. Few whistles #07 start&a few other spots reduced. Most clapping&finger-snapping removed/lowered during music. Taper cut off deck 'tween songs (or done at transfer)-gaps after fade-outs removed/shortened. #14 1/2sec gap spliced&almost seamless. ::: COMPARISON CLAUSE: This Mk2 version remastered from '08 "Mk1"402MB upload, no longer on DIME. ::: *Ausstellungshalle location unconfirmed. Sometimes also listed as Messehalle. Do you have an ad/ticket/poster/review? ::: Small file size as only used better quality R channel of mono tape (after patching/remastering). ::: "Future Games, FM's 5th studio album, recorded June-August '71 & was released 1971-09-03. ::: "Bare Trees", FM's 6th studio album, recorded late '71/early '72 & released late March '72. Recording Information ::: unknown mono reel recorder/mike -> master audience mono reel -> DAT -> CD-Rs -> wav -> "Mk1" master AUD flacs. Playback 2020-03-xx :::"Mk1" master AUD flacs -> Audacity [normalisation to remove DC offset, channel/phase alignment, fades, manual one-at-a-time glitch, bump, clap, pop, click, dropout & dullspot repairs, volume adjustments, -0.65% averaged pitch (speed) fix with single pass after frequency analysis & with pitchpipe verification, NO equalisation (*except 51kHz notch done to lower hum), no noise reduction, only kept better quality higher frequncy R channel of mono tape after patching/remastering] -> CD Wave (track splits) -> flacs (Trader's Little Helper) -> yr ears. Freed 2020-04-xx. Line-up ::: "Bob" Robert Lawrence Welch Jr. (†R.I.P.† 2012) - electric guitar, vocals // "Danny" Daniel David Kirwan (†R.I.P.† 2018) - electric guitar, vocals // Christine Anne McVie (née Perfect) - keyboards, vocals // John Graham McVie - electric bass // "Mick" Michael John Kells Fleetwood - drums. Nothing here ever commercially released to my knowledge. If I'm wrong, please advise & I'll take the offending trax offline. DimeTravel 622 ::: Thanks to the original taper & uploader! (There was no DIME handle noted in the textfile & the old dimebot is extinct). Thanks to elegymart for checking his files. ::: Corrections welcome ::: EXC version of "Little Child Of Mine". Drum solo -> "Whole Lotta Shakin' Going On" seems sorta pointless overall. The side of Welch it's hard to eat comes out, when he berates the audience for not being as into it as he would like - he may not have realised that's how he comes across, "We're going to give you one last chance, man". However, excepting the encore, the show is exceptional - the guitar interplay spectacular. Christine seems slightly subdued to me, but it may just be song selection or that she's a bit low in the mix. This one rates very highly in the post-Green FM canon - hence all the subtle work to improve the sound. Listen, enjoy, show appreciation, share, give, spread peace. Yrs truly, Knees ORIGINAL "Mk1" UPLOADER/TRADER NOTES: "About 10 yrs ago I was playing in a band & our drummer's little brother was going to England to study architecture for a semester. The day he left we drove him to the airport & he offered me gas money & I told him instead bring me back something interesting. When he returned he handed me this DAT. He proceeded to tell me about this guy in a music store that he met hooked him up with all kinds of music. Since he knew I was a big Peter Green fan he asked the guy if he had anything special he could give him to bring me. The guy said he would find something. The next time he saw him, the guy told him he couldn't find any Green stuff but he found this. It certainly was interesting :-) Soon after I was able to contact the guy via email & that's how I learned that it was from a master reel he had obtained. For the next few years I did quite a bit of trading with him & then he fell off the face of the earth & I never heard from him again. Anyway, sound-wise I'd say this is a very good recording, performance-wise it's excellent. But the best thing about this is the setlist. If you are into Kirwin/Welch Fleetwood Mac, this is it. Enjoy!"
