| Notes: | Disc 1: 1. Embryo 2. Fat Old sun 3. Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun 4. Atom Heart Mother Disc 2: 1. One Of These Days 2. Careful With That Axe, Eugene 3. Cymbaline 4. Echoes encore: 5. Blues "Complete Show. Good jamming on 'Embryo'. During 'Atom Heart Mother' and the end of 'Echoes' there are some severe speed problems and at times the left channel has a few drops. In between 'One Of These Days' and 'Careful With That Axe, Eugene' there is some 'water' sound from wich I cannot determine whether is was at the actuall performance or not. 'Fat Old Sun' cuts out a little early." -Jemig De Pemig shn'd by: brun0 | |||||

| Notes: | 2nd gen > DAT(?) > CDR > ? > shn@44.1kHz/16bit shns converted to flac level 8 with foobar2000 v0.8.3, verified to be bit identical Reeling in Pink Floyd CD DVD1 source Analogue tapes originate from Joe Ruffner's 1st gen, taper unknown. Speed corrected but still some (minor) fluctuations present as well as some tape problems, for instance during first part of AHM (wow, flutter), sound quality decreases near the end (Blues). The Embryo cuts in, Fat Old Sun cuts off. An upgrade to the "Michigan 28 October 1971", no label release, which has been heavily processed and which has the tape stretches edited out. A 1st gen circulates but it seems this 2nd gen is accepted as being best sounding (for now). No other info about the source available, nor about the speed correcting process which alone makes this a big upgrade to what we had before. Sound quality goes from very good to good to fair. | |||||
