Notes: The band played under the name Audio Vanguard Association at this show. SPFC has this to say about the name/show: Audio Vanguard Association - The band called themselves this for a secret show at the Double Door, in Chicago, on June 23, 1997. This concert was one of the very first after the start of the Adore recording sessions. It is likely that the band chose this name because the first letter of each word spells out "Ava", which of course relates to Adore's first single, "Ava Adore".

Notes: Secret show billed as 'Audio Vanguard Association'. This was a warm-up gig ahead of the short European festival tour. Opening band were The Frogs. A trader let me borrow the ANA1 tape in the 2000s, and I played it back on my Pioneer deck into my Sony PCM-R300 deck with Super Bit Mapping onto a KAO60m DAT. Raw transfer with no fades or EQ. However, it appears the taper may have EQ'd the tape prior to dubbing the ANA1. Archive: DAT clone was transferred @ 48kHz and FLAC'd with cue sheet. Transferred by tapeworm(48)

Notes: This is an upgrade to the above AUD#1 source. Transfer was done by Dan Elsen from one of Kris Scheurich's tapes. Sound quality is a little better than the circulating ANA-2.

Notes: Warmup show before a short European summer tour - band was billed as the Audio Vanguard Association. Very good recording, you feel like you're in the room. Crank it!
