Notes: James' notes: Equipment used to record was a Sony Walkman Pro with Sonic Studio's mics. Sony UX Pro Casette 90 tapes. Burnt to CD with a Pioneer PDR-509 CD-R. Tape deck used to burn onto pioneer cdr was a Nakamichi BX 100 Uploaded to Guvner by Carson. My mics were stealthily placed under a shirt with 2 small holes cut for each mic to just poke through. We had the best seats for sound 28 rows back (which were the highest price tickets from 28th to 40th rows) to be able to catch the quad sound. There were 8 of us in the row so at least there was no talking on both sides of me. This should be dedicated to Dean Taylor as he really wanted a great copy of his all time fav band. He went on to see them a further 40 times all across the United States. I have waited to unearth these tapes to the right person and place. I never gave people copies no matter how many times they asked. That went for all my recordings. Only a few people knew I had a collection of shows. Most didn't think they were any good. That was their loss. One just asked me about them the other day as he was with me at a Tom Petty show and had to tell him to shut up on more than one occasion. Then they didn't take it seriously but today they do. I took it very seriously as once I got the equipment past security I had to go into the washroom stall and transform myself ready to record as I needed the privacy to tape the mics under my shirt. I even brought a pen with duct tape wrapped around so I had my supply. It was nerve wracking. It was a mission. I used to take pictures prior to 85 but i saw a friend taping and put the camera down and bought a great deck. This way i could relive the show and not just look at it. This recording is from my collection. It is the collection of James Geller. Now all the people and more who asked me for copies can now experience the quality of what i did for my own personal enjoyment. So sit back put on some good headphones or simply crank it up and enjoy oneself. The show is from the C.N.E. TORONTO THURSDAY JULY 7TH 1994. (Canadian National Exhibition) the final night of the 3. Other notes: For the first time ever, a new and superior recorder for this show is being released to the public. A subscriber called James Geller reached out to me and gave me the honour of sharing his collection publicly, being the first time anyone other than him will be listening to it. High Hopes is cut due to a tape flip and there are minor tape flips at the end of Sorrow, One Of These Days, Time, and Comfortably Numb. Enjoy this raw transfer of James' tape. I will upload my speed corrected, patched and de-peaked version of this show soon also. Cheerio, Ello_Guvner
