Pat Metheny: Guitars, Guitar Synthesizer
Lyle Mays: Piano
Steve Rodby: Bass
Paul Wertico: Drums
This is probably the only recording in circulation of the PMG, after 1980, playing as a quartet (and the only one which features Rodby and Wertico, rather than Mark Egan and Dan Gottlieb). From that standpoint alone, it has great historical significance. Additionally, much of the setlist is made up of tunes common to the Pat Metheny Trio setting, and most have not been played publicly by the Pat Metheny Group.
