After dinner over to the Watson Stage to see Jerry Douglas' band. What a start for the weekend. This afternoon at 1430 I was on Roy Book Binder's blues stage with Ernie Hawkins, Catfish Keith and John Koerner. It was a great way to get the ball rolling. I played San Francisco Bay Blues then we caught a bite to eat and headed over to Creekside for our 1830 show after Tim O'Brien. Here is our set list: Hot Tuna 35, 2004 Merlefest, 2004 Jorma Kaukonen, Jack Casady & Barry Mitterhoff Creekside 1830 to1915 Friday, April 30, 2004 1. Blue Railroad Train 2. Hesitation Blues 3. Keep Your Lamps Trimmed And Burning 4. I’ll Let You Know Before I Leave 5. Bread Line Blues 6. That’ll Never Happen No More 7. Uncle Sam Blues 8. Just Because 9. Encore: I Know You Rider I stayed to see most of Kelly Willis' set and then headed back to the hotel for a quick burger and some rest. Vanessa and John went back to the site to see Sam Bush. After Sam is Peter Rowan and Crucial Reggae with the Burning Spear horn section. I'll find out about that later. Now to bed.
