This show is also being traded as 8/22/78 and 8/23/78 Chicago, but this has been proven to be incorrect, thanks to a ticket
stub from Jim Hiott.
A bootleg titled "CHICAGO 1978" (Metal Sword 071/072) is likely of a different performance, in Newcastle, England, May 21, 1978. That recording also contains N.I.B. which wasn't played in Chicago. At the Chicago performance, the announcer
says "Alright Chicago! Let's welcome BLACK SAB-BATH!!!" Ozzy follows straight after with "C'mon Chicago!"

| Notes: | The original version was recorded on the right channel only. This version was a "remaster" that copied the right channel on the left side as well, for better listenability. Given this minor change, I still feel comfortable calling this a "master." | |||||

| Notes: | The original master was recorded in stereo only with the right channel. The left channel was mute. So I duplicated the right channel on the left to create a mono recording. Then I inserted some fade in / fade outs on the points where the tape was cut, redid the track splitting more accurately and fixed some volume fluctuations. I then applied a few of my own private receipes and here you go with the best sounding version of this show I've ever heard. VG+ I'd say. For those allergic to compression, I can assure you no compression of any kind has been applied to this recording.
