Notes: Recording/Remastering Notes: Standing dead center, making an equilateral triangle (15 feet from me to the stage and each PA speaker). EQ is somewhat different for the first track (I added a lot more bass, it possibly was only coming through the monitors during this song) and second track (more bass) than for the third and the rest of the show (a tad more bass), since the mixing man started out with almost no bass and bumped it up twice. Whole show had a bit of a mid treble increase. Other than normalizing, I didn't do anything else to it...just wanted it to sound like what I heard when I was there, great show. Show Notes: House music cuts into the first song a little because they don't realize he's started yet, as he is not on the stage. "When Johnny Comes Marching Home" is less than a minute and is accented by Dick's comments "That's how I treat my women." (as he was attacking the guitar). Dick is obviously very pleased with the crowd after track 12 with the call and response session! You can hear the girl from the opening act push her way past me stating "I've got to up there with my girlfriend" at about the 1:50 point of "Mr. Peppermint Man"."Who Do You Love" is the "Hey Bo Diddley" jam where Dick plays drums, then the bassist's bass with drumsticks. Track 10 of course has Dick playing trumpet and doing his best Louis Armstrong impersonation! Compiled by Chris Hickman on 5/29/04. Special thanks to btocher1 for help with the setlist.
