| Daniel | / | View | Source 1: Dime post by 'ricola' - thanks for the post and encouraging this !!... | |||
| Notes: | The original post was a superb recording and performance, but with some imperfections which I fixed in V1, then in V2 I added flac tags from Angela artwork and some more sonic improvements, only for Goody to tell me the speed needed adjustment and there was another post with a little additional material. He corrected the extra material and sent it, along with instructions to fix my own files, for me to stitch it all together. Of course I found there were further sonic improvements that made a further significant improvement. So here with V3 is what I hope is the final definitive version. TomP post on Dime, Nov. 2015...Enjoy !! ------------------------------------ V1 changes (Nero 7): Fixed track 06 tape flip / gap (originally 3.49 - 3.54), now inaudible Applied Nero noise print NR, worked well Moved beginnings of tracks from the end of the track before Fixed several short duplicated false starts of tracks Fixed applause fades between tracks 06>7 and 08>9 Fixed big digi-glitch at end of tr11 Reduced left channel by 5% to centre stereo image Now fits on a single CDR-90 (or start CD2 with track 06) V2 changes (Nero 8): FM Phase offset correction Increased volume by +2dB dc. offset correction Corrected SBEs Corrected micro gaps between tracks Retracked by a few seconds for neater transitions Added flac tags using Angela artwork V3 changes (Nero 8 unless indicated): Pitch adjustment -0.47 cents (Audition as advised by Goody) Phase offset correction, L-channel +0.33msec (source 2) Patched source 1 with source 2 (track 00 + first 10sec of track 01) Corrected 300+ balance variations Increased volume by +2dB Cross-mixed channels (99:1 ratio) Re-tracked to separate (German) announcer and more accurate track transitions Larger art in flac tags (Tag & Rename) | |||||
