Call of the West Artist Info: Stan is a wonderful unique voice in American songwriting - get to know Stan and his music at http://www.stanridgway.com There are some mp3s available from there and a vast emporium of Stan related products to satisfy your holiday shopping needs. Recording Notes: Cafe du Nord is one of my favorite venues for a show - small, dark and lots of red velvet. A happy crowd and a great performance. I switched tapes right after Police Call ends and it picks up with a story in progress leading up to Mexican Radio - no music was missed. Track indexing note: Stan often does long rambling vamping intros to his songs which may or may not actually have anything to do with the song he is about to play so I put the index points right where the song actually starts. If you are scooting around between songs the song will start up right away minus the vamping intros and if you are listening all the way through you won't even notice.
