| Notes: | Review (by Carsten Luebber, Bremen) The event beginning was announced for 18:00 hrs, but the actual beginning was 20:00 hrs. The support act at the Scandinavian acapella singers "Real Group" started at 18:30 hrs. It was a warm summer evening, the Amphitheatre was sold out and some people outside the venue - in the park - sitting there with beer and sandwiches and enjoyed the concert as well ;-) Van in good mood. Pee Wee Ellis very funny, Matt Holland very shy ;-) the sound pretty good, beer and sausages very expensive. T-shirts, poster and other merchandise was sold out in a few minutes :-( In the press/VIP lounge only one journalist who made notice, he wrote later in the Hamburger Morgenpost it was a fine concert, 100 minutes (hey, it was only 90 minutes !)and the highest moment a 15 minutes version of "Summertime" (he must had problems with his watchstrap) | |||||
