Notes: Great sound, as this is from a radio broadcast. Includes DJ's talking and commercials, but the sounds is worth the minor interruptions. The info says it is from 02/04/98, but it appears to actually be this date.

RM's Giant Live Music Archive (2/5) FLAC / 0 View   G. The Cock's preFM source (Z204)
Notes: Original Lineage: Original CDs given to the performing radio stations --> transferred digitally (lossless) to DAT --> Sony DT 60 ES --> SoundBlaster (via TOSlink digital connection) --> MAGIX Music Cleaning Lab 2006 Deluxe (track splitting and encoding to WAVE) --> FLAC Frontend level 8 (FLAC) --> WAV --> Errors fixing --> FLAC Frontend level 8 (FLAC) Additional notes: Unfortunately, the whole recording was sprinkled with an uncountable number of micro-gaps (up to 30 ms) and some other diginoises perfectly audible, somehow spoiling the listening pleasure for maniacs like me. Less dramatic but also perturbing, the whole recording is saturated so the higher peaks are clipped, resulting in some scratchy sound at higher levels. At last, when burning the version without the DJtalking, some clicks and abrupt changes in the level appeared at transition - All gaps and diginoises were removed (hand-made job, no filtering) - The whole recording level was decreased by 2 dB and the squared peaks were unclipped up to 0dB with Soundforge "clipped peak restauration" pluggin. - The transitions were reworked so the whole concert will appear seamless either with or without the DJ talks No other kind of remastering work was performed, the perfect sound quality of this recording called for the greatest respect. This is only a fixed version of the previous set, not a remaster.
