| Notes: | Very strong recording, though there is a little bit of distracting crowd noise throughout. One guy close to the recorder expresses a wish that Keith Richards sing "Mixed Emotions" as part of his set. Had I been there, I'd have whacked the guy (Keith doesn't sing Mixed Emotions). But for a less obssessed fan, the annoyance will be the fact that you can hear the guy -- not that he's ignorant. It really doesn't interfere with the music at all, but you can hear people talking in the background throughout. On the fun side, there's a bit during the band intros in which Mick says that Ron Wood knows how many notes are on Pearl Jam's album "Ten." They're referring back to PJ's opening set, in which Eddie Vedder said that Mike McCready was such a Stones freak that he knew how many grooves were in assorted Rolling Stones records....Maybe you had to be there. | |||||
