Notes: Notes: This FM broadcast comes relatively soon after the Eleventh House's formation. They play mostly songs from the first album, which was recorded earlier on in 1973 but not released officially until 1974. Maybe because this is all "new" material, Larry seems to announce the titles of all the songs, even going as far as spelling "Low-Lee-Tah". The radio announcer mentions that this is the first set that The Eleventh House played at the Jazz Workshop on this day. This 1st gen audio from allsoundz/carville is different from the version shared by glasnostrd19 because glasnostrd19's is higher gen (maybe 2nd gen), but they both almost certainly come from the same tape source. I think this 1st gen audio sounds slightly cleaner, but not by much because glasnostrd19's is also a good transfer. Glasnostrd19's version runs at the correct speed, whereas the original audio here ran fast. I made the following edits: -Speed adjusted everything by -2.0% -The volume levels increased slightly after about 5 minutes into the recording. I counterbalanced this by amplifying the first ~5 minutes by 1.5 dB, and tapering that off over a couple seconds during the part where the original audio was increasing in volume -FM static clicks/pops are quite noticeable on the original audio during quiet parts. I manually reduced (but didn't completely silence) the strongest of the static pops, mostly during Gratitude, the drum solo, and the speaking parts between songs. I probably dealt with about 100-200 pops. The static is still quite evident but it's at least better now. I did this work in Audacity on a combined single track and exported the results as retracked FLAC files. I fixed SBE with TLH and created a new checksum. -ledwhofloyd (Ross), Dec. 2021
