Second half of an Allen Ginsberg lecture on English and American lyric poetry. Ginsberg reads Sir Walter Raleigh's "The lie," Christophr Marlowe's "The passionate shepherd to his love," Hector Berlioz and Giuseppe Verdi requiems, George Peel's "As when the rye reached to the chin" and "Hot sun, cool fire, tempered with sweet air, and Robert Southwell's "The burning babe."
