Broadcasted on Swedish Radio FM 1994-12-11
Hultsfredsfestivalen was the biggest festival in Scandinavia together with Roskilde in Denmark and the Boys did a fantastic show that summer of 1994.
I remember when I talked to John about Oysterbands shows in Sweden that he really liked that gig in Hultsfred and he also said that he couldn't understand that they didn't get the chance to come back and play at that Festival again.
Levellers played 2 years in a row there so why couldn't Oysterband do the same?
This year 1994 they released Cry Cry (single) and the year before they had released Holy Bandits and that record is IMHO the best Folkrock album from England, it's a fantastic record with killer songs all the way.
Of all the shows I've seen and all shows I've heard with the band this is probably one of the best shows, so enjoy listening and go out and buy their records
And most important go out and see them at a concert somewhere.
