these guys really shine live. i saw them dozens of times between 1995 and 2002 and they almost never failed to totally kick my ass, playing some of the most convoluted, complex
prog/canterbury/surrealist rock ever. whereas their legitimate recorded output is spotty and sonically disparate to a fault, C-A has always been an intense, consistently amazing live rock band. fans of either yes/magma/ruins/king crimson prog intensity or this heat/egg/soft machine canterbury NEED to check this killer live set out. they are one of the most underrated prog bands of all time, period. two decades, still going strong . . .
