Notes: *need to listen to brew's notes: In 1987 my buddy who has always been a huge U2 tape trader gave me a copy of this show. I had taped Red Rocks (05-Jun-83) from the radio back in ?83 and this was my second War show. This performance is not as long, but much looser, more fun. The versions of ?Two Hearts? and ?Seconds? here are phenomenal, with Bono scat-singing and Larry and Adam sounding like a funk band. Sometime in the last 10 or 15 years I lost that battered TDK-90 and, I thought, this show. Thanks to a series of trades, I have one of my favorite shows back in rotation. A lot of U2 is seeded here, but mostly PopMart shows and various DVDs. This is a relatively rare show, not listed on many trading lists. Grab it and gear up for the new album due Nov. 23 and the '05 tour! This is a good audience recording (not obviously sourced from vinyl) probably the same tape source I had back in 1987. Imagine it to be multi-generation, but well worth the download for any U2 fan.
