Notes: Skeleton Crew Iron Horse Music Hall Northampton Mass February 26 1984 SBD>Cass(1 or 2 gen)>Peak>Xact>flac Fred Frith - Guitar and everything but the kitchen sink Tom Cora - Cello and the kitchen sink By the time of this show, Fred & Tom had played well over a hundred duo gigs and it certainly shows. This is one of the best duo crew performance I've heard. They nail most of the tunes, the instruments stay mostly in tune, and you can really hear the vocals. Cora in particular is on freakin fire, He displays more extended Cello techniques in this one concert than other Cellists do in a lifetime. Interesting trivia......This concert was promoted by Amy Denio, of the Tone Dogs, and Billy Tipton Memorial Sax Quartet fame. 1. Intro 2. Que Viva/Not My Shoes 3.
