| Notes: | This was an invite only show at a very small Columbus venue. It was sponsored by Jack Daniel's and part of their 'Live From Studio No. 7' promotions. The Walkmen are one of those bands that really have to grow on you. I went out and bought 'Bows + Arrows' after hearing "The Rat' - which was of the best singles of the year IMO. The album really threw me, there was nothing as immediate as 'The Rat" except for maybe 'Little House Of Savages,' and Hamiltons voice is definitely and acquired taste. But having said that, the show was really tight and much more aggressive than on disc. Ten of the sixteen songs played are from their soon to be released album 'A Hundred Miles Off' which will be released May 23. If you like them, go buy their stuff! enjoy, | |||||
