This was the kickoff for Pearl Jam's World Tour 06. It was a great show and the recording sounds really nice, better than the last one I recorded because I was closer this time. This show was recorded from section 118, row 16, seat 15. They played lots of songs from the new album, anyway it was a great night and the band had a blast, Mike was running around like a maniac the entire show, Eddie was also running around when they came back for the encore. The band was throughing all kinds of stuff into the crowd, pics, shirts, posters, tamborines it was nuts. I've never noticed them doing this before but these are probably the closest seats I've had for PJ. They played a bunch of songs that they havn't played before or in a long time. The show was just over 2 hours long so a pretty good length to open the tour with. There are a couple songs (D1 track 13 and D2 track 7) that have very small cuts, less then a second where the DAT had a dropout. I've cut that gap out and edited the songs back together in audacity. They are small cuts and take very very little away from this great recording.
